Engineering Hammer, flat and Phillips screw drivers, pliers, files, hacksaw and wood saws, punches and chisels, thread taps and dies as well as how to mark out materials for cutting.
Typical tools and equipment demonstrated are: Students will manufacture a few small items and will gain sufficient experience to use the tools and machines demonstrated. The session is one full day between the hours of 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm.
The practical tools training session is delivered by a qualified instructor in the workshop.
